Another Beanie (and Another Knitter Joins In)
This is Louise, a faithful friend for many years and she is pictured in a newborn beanie. Next up a "flying" style hat. We've also sent off a beanie pattern to another keen knitter. Thanks!!
First Hat & Booties
These don't really go, do they? Oh well, as separates they work! Could lose the ribbon, too but it is cute and detachable. Working on a purple, green and red hat at the moment and will knit more bootie/socks without ribbon, I think.
If you want to join me in knitting for African children, post me a request and I'll email a pattern to you. Feel free to upload your own hat or bootie photos, too.
As for getting the gear to Africa - Knitted Relief is happy to be a collection point (address supplied upon request). Contacts in Kenya will distribute when the time comes.
